Searching for Placer Diamonds

Wyoming is known for its diamond deposits. Many of these diamonds have eroded from the Kimberlite Pipes and surrounding country rock. This paper tells techniques on exploring and recovering diamonds from placering. While this paper focuses on where and how to recover diamonds in Wyoming, the principles on how placer diamonds are transported and deposited can be applied when looking for placer diamonds anywhere.
